Finally, Eric branches out

Kathryn claims that I did once order something other than la Croque Madame from Bruges Brothers, but I certainly don't remember it.  That made Thursday a big day, when I went for the Papas Bravas which has chorizo, bacon and other wonders.

"The truck is out front"

Comfort food on a cold day

La Humita On Wheels was Friday's stop on a bitter cold and windy way.  Ecuadorian fare -- chicken on rice, salad, beans, soup -- the spot at the 41st floor cafeteria.

Fortunately the truck was steps away on Columbus Drive

Stuck in a frites rut

There were a dozen options at Daley Plaza on Croatia - America Day but we had eyes only for the black truck of Bruges Brothers.

Return to a favorite - Piko Street

Piko Rice Bowl - rice topped with chicken, ribeye, porkbelley and veggies.  Topped with egg, because they will.

Piko was one of the first stops on this Odyssey, as you can see in our post from August 2015.  That post has a picture of food truck adventurers Susan and Kurt who inspired this journey and the blog.

If you have a 42nd floor spot to eat your food truck fare,
and it is a cold blustery day...well, you don't stay of the street.
